AnJac's
incredible barbeque and sauce have been a Coastal tradition
for over forty years. What started out in a convience
store has turned into a barbeque legend. The new owners
of the name-sake, David and Lacy Vickers, have taken
over with a vision for the future while still honoring
the past. They have a secret barbeque sauce recipe that
brought all of the glory to the AnJac's legend. AnJac's
barbeque sauce has gotten so popular that David and
Lacy are offering it on teh internet for the world to
enjoy.
The
take out line is rarely empty at AnJac's, but the swift
service keeps it moving. However, you can also enjoy
it as you sit down to the picnic tables and relax in
the fun atmosphere. The walls are uniquely adorned with
wood planks, the tables are covered in the red checkerboard
tablecloths, and the sheets of tin all make you feel
like you are at a down home family reunion. You can
enjoy all of the fixin's: potato salad, baked beans,
cole slaw, potato cut fries, and red beans and rice.
All are made fresh by AnJac's. They offer full catering
service by the way, so if you're having a family reunion
let AnJac's know and they will take care of it for you.
Another
Coast tradition is the Lil' Jac's BBQ on the bun. You
have to throw a couple of these on the table as well.
All the smoking is done with pecan and it adds an amazing
flavor. If you are able to make it to dessert, then
you can enjoy peach cobbler, a slice of pie or cake
made by AnJac's own Pastry Chef.
So
for a taste of Coast Tradition, sit down with an ice
cold Barq's rootbeer, some Lil' Jac's BBQ on a bun,
a Full Rack of Ribs with all the sides, and the barbeque
sauce that started it all at AnJac's. AnJac's is truly
a Coast Original.
